Marunouchi 3-2 planned new construction work
The Marunouchi 3-2 Project is a large-scale redevelopment project in Marunouchi 3-chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, in which three buildings, including the former Tokyo Kaikan Building, were rebuilt as one, and construction was completed in 2018 as the Marunouchi Nijubashi Building. The building has 30 floors above ground and 4 floors underground, approximately 140 meters in height, and a total floor area of approximately 174,000 m2, with the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry and commercial zone in the lower floors, a conference hall and banquet halls in the middle, and offices overlooking the Imperial Palace Gardens in the upper floors. Designed by Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei and constructed by Taisei Corporation, it is a high-grade complex with enhanced disaster prevention and environmental performance.
